The first LNG bunkering vessel to be deployed in Northern Europe

Gas4Sea’s first LNG bunkering project will start operation in Q4 2016. Using an innovative purpose-built LNG bunkering vessel, designed to be compatible with our customers, we will be providing LNG to vessels in the port of Zeebrugge, Belgium and neighbouring ports.

Dimensions:

  • LOA = 107.6 m
  • Breadth = 18.4 m

 LNG bunker fuel capacity:

  • Two Type-C cargo tanks, total tank volume of 5,000 cm at 98% filling ratio under atmospheric pressure

Propulsion / Manoeuvrability:

  • Propulsion system allowing maximum manoeuverability: twin shafts and 2 bow thrusters

Bunkering system:

  • Max bunkering rate 600 m3/h
  • LNG pump redundancy
  • Manifolds at mid ship and fore part
  • Cranes and 6 inches flexible hoses (liquid and vapour)

 

In the future, we plan to expand our business into other regions, in collaboration with key stakeholders, such as shipping companies, port authorities, terminals operators, regional suppliers, and local government and regulators.
